Coming from my previous roles as CIO for TAXI Canada Ltd, and then CSM for WPP IT, this role within WPP IT provides me with unique exposure to service delivery, compliance, procurement, strategy & architecture, commercial teams, service assurance and crisis management and all of the unique challenges of leveraging third party partners in the delivery of IT services.As IT Director, I manage the IT operations for all WPP operating companies outside of NY on the US East Coast and across Canada and manage a team of IT Operations Managers to help drive and deliver services. I interface with the senior leadership of operating companies, ensuring stakeholders are up to date on transformation efforts, along with communicating program elements, managing change and keeping operating companies on course with the wider program. I also work with the stakeholders to ensure issues are routed to the right teams and dealt with in a timely manner, working with global partners to bring resources together as needed for major projects along with managing vendors and escalations.Key components: team building, relationship building, communications, vendor management, service assurance, escalation, crisis management.WPP IT is a shared IT services group charged with ensuring technology service providers fulfill the requirements of over WPP people with agile, secure solutions, within a governance framework.
