I provide legal support relating to payments to a wide range of businesses within Barclays, covering a broad customer/client base - consumer, SME, corporate and FinTech.Barclays is a full-service payments business and I support all types of payments activity including credit and debit card issuing, acquiring, domestic bank payments (including Bacs CT and DD and FPS) and international payments (including cross currency payments and vanilla MiFID regulated FX transactions).I have been at the forefront of the implementation of key recent regulatory change impacting payments including PSD2 (including strong customer authentication) and Open Banking, bank ring-fencing reforms and preparations for/changes as a result of Brexit.
