Diversity and Inclusion Program Manager @Duke Energy Corporation

Responsible for strategic Diversity & Inclusion-related program management, diverse pipeline and talent-focused development, and promotion of inclusive workplace practices. Charged with designing, implementing and managing enterprise-wide D&I programs and initiatives in support of the company’s strategic D&I goals. Serves as a champion, change agent and subject matter expert, acting as a strategic partner and trusted advisor in the D&I space. Key responsibilities include- Designing, implementing and managing programs to advance diverse leaders - Providing consultative support to lines of business, HR partners, D&I councils, and senior leaders regarding D&I matters and strategic plans to ensure alignment with Duke Energy’s corporate business objectives; partner with Talent Acquisition to develop specific plans around HBCU engagement and sourcing diverse candidates - Partnering with the Duke Energy Foundation and Community Relations on diversity and equity-related community efforts, including providing support on philanthropic funding recommendations for the Charlotte market and South Carolina - Consulting with internal learning & development partners and external vendors to create an enterprise-wide D&I training strategy for all employees at all levels of the organization with primary responsibility for implementation and on-going management of the strategy
