Provides vision, leadership, strategic and technical direction, for nuclear site IT organization consisting of multiple complex and diverse functions. • Manages and directs the IT consulting function for all nuclear site business groups • Manages and directs the technical support function for the nuclear site, including desktop operating systems, desktop and laptop hardware, desktop software and peripheral devices. • Interfaces in a matrix organization with central NIT management. Ensures that all duties and processes associated with infrastructure administration and application development support are aligned with nuclear site directives and NIT policies and procedures. • Interfaces and coordinates with leadership positions within the nuclear site to ensure all technology services are aligned and leveraged to provide maximum support in the achievement of business strategies • Establishes and maintains partnerships with all station divisions, sections and teams, working at all organizational levels. • Guides the development and implementation of integrated processes, products, services and measures to deliver high value and low cost technology solutions, which maximize business results. • Prepares and monitors the nuclear site IT budget. • Provides input to the alignment and integration of NIT and Nuclear Business Strategic and Operational planning processes. • Participates in NIT management decisions, providing input to standard setting and policies, representing nuclear site business technical needs and impacts. • Effectively leads and motivates teammates to perform to their highest potential by serving as a role model and catalyst for change.
