ABOUT SIDNEY ANDERSON
Experienced Project Coordinator/Manager with a special focus in media and community engagement. Looking for opportunities in video production, creative marketing and project management. Sidney’sunique yet broadly reaching skill set offers a plethora of experience in digital media, higher education, and community engagement. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Television Production, and following her graduation from Michigan State University in 2018, she served as a college advisor through AmeriCorps for two years at a large high school in West Michigan. She earned her Masters Degree in Arts Administration and served as the Graduate Assistant and Project Manager for EMU\'s community engagement office, where she led several major projects working in recidivism efforts, debt forgiveness opportunities, and creative connection. She hopes that the experience of her master\'s program will help her propel into the career of her dreams. Sidney describes herself as a \"chronic hobbyist.\" When she\'s not advancing her professional career, she can be found performing with several improv troupes across the state of Michigan and filming creative projects. She also serves in a leadership position for a local dance organization that focuses on the development and promotion of music culture in Detroit.
