ABOUT SHWETA PRASAD

My name is Shweta Prasad. I am a graduate student at University of Colorado at Boulder with Master\'s in Embedded Systems and IoT. I have 7 years of professional work experience in diverse cultural industries including research organizations and IT firms in India and international research organizations in Germany. I have mainly experience in designing, developing and testing of DSP firmwares on FPGAs, MicroTCA-based systems and micro-controllers. I have relevant 5 years of experience working with VHDL, Embedded C, C and MATLAB. Also have relevant 5 years of experience working with Xilinx and Intel designing, synthesis, simulation, and testing tools. With 5 years of hands-on practical experience working with RF systems/devices and Digital LLRF control systems. I also worked at AMD as Vitis Model Composer Intern in Colorado during Summer 2024.And I am currently working as Graduate Teaching Assistant for course ECEN 5863 - Programmable Logic Design under Prof. Scherr to dive-into the world of FPGAs and also provide student guidance for this coursework.In addition to the technical work, I have actively participated and organized Internation events (an International Community where people of diverse cultures socialize) in Hamburg, Germany. I also took part in the discussions on the major climate changes happening around the world in the We Don\'t Have Time international community. Also currently, I work with the Environmental Center to bring sustainability in the on-campus housing of Boulder.
