During my Clinical Pharmacist Internship at Zydus Hospital, I gained invaluable experience in multiple facets of clinical pharmacy, with a concentrated focus on antimicrobial stewardship and narcotic audits. This included adjusting dosages, selecting appropriate administration routes, and ensuring that antibiotic therapies were both effective and tailored to individual patient needs- Narcotic Audits: I conducted comprehensive narcotic audits to ensure that all controlled substances were managed in strict compliance with regulatory standards. This involved tracking the usage of narcotics, identifying any discrepancies in documentation or inventory, and ensuring that all handling practices were safe and lawful- Adverse Drug Monitoring: I monitored patients for adverse drug reactions and interactions, ensuring that any issues were promptly reported to the medical team for timely intervention- Drug Information Support: I supported healthcare providers by researching and providing evidence-based recommendations to inform clinical decisions- Inventory Management:I played a key role in managing the hospital pharmacy\'s inventory, ensuring the availability of essential medications and maintaining accurate records.This internship significantly enhanced my clinical skills, particularly in areas critical to patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Experience I\'m Shruti Jha, presently interning as a clinical pharmacist at Zydus Hospital, Ahmedabad, from June 6th to December 2024. Recognized for my meticulous and proactive approach, I\'ve specialized in various audits, including inpatient pharmacy, outpatient, ICU on wheels, narcotic, and Indane audits. Committed to ensuring patient safety, I conduct daily rounds on all floors, diligently identifying and documenting clinical errors.
