Canopius Group is a global specialty insurance and reinsurance provider headquartered in London. As the sole Change Manager in the organisation, I worked on global multi year projects and advised on smaller ones. Some of my achievements are outlined below- Provided change management consultancy on global multi-year projects with a focus on communication, training, resistance and embedding the change. Projects include an Oracle HRIS which was successfully adopted across the UK, APAC and US, a Data Privacy initiative which has accrued significant benefits and currently supporting the rollout and adoption of a PowerApps tool for workflow management and reporting- Developed a survey to assess AI capabilities and usage across the department, and coordinated sessions with our in house Copilot trainer to explore practical use cases for project managers and business analysts- Created Change Management templates for departmental use and assisted with standardising templates across (Change, Technology and Data). This exercise refined and simplified our offering to the business- Trained the department on Change Management themes e.g. Change Management basics, How people deal with change, Stakeholder Management, Communication skills and sourced trainers to provide additional upskilling e.g.(Assertiveness, Managing Conflict and Resilience). The trainings resulted in notable behavioural improvements- Successfully collaborated with the HR Organisational Development team to implement strategies for upskilling the Manchester and London (Change, Technology and Data) teams in insurance and London Market domain knowledge.
