ABOUT SHIRLEY OTIENO
In 2019, I decided to immigrate to the United States to start a brand new life and job. This decision was a major turning point for me, meaning that I had to leave my familiar environment and face a completely unfamiliar culture and social system. When I first came to the U.S, the difference in language and culture made me feel lost, but I didn\'t let that deter me, instead, I worked harder to adapt to the new environment and improve my abilities. At work, I tried my best to seize every opportunity, and through my unremitting efforts, I gradually accumulated experience and established a wide range of contacts. As time went by, I started to come across more investment and business management opportunities, which made me interested in becoming a limited partner (LP). After much study and practice, I eventually succeeded in becoming a limited partner and was able to participate in business decisions and provide capital for future growth. This journey has been challenging and has taught me many valuable lessons. From the initial unfamiliarity and uneasiness to today\'s determination and self-confidence, my growth path has made me deeply realize that taking the first step bravely and persistently pursuing one\'s goals will ultimately bring satisfactory results.
