ABOUT SHI-MIN CHIN
I am a solutionist and a thinker and I care a lot, especially about improving mental health care and designing measurably useful, effortless product experiences that solve meaningful problems. People are people (complex, multi-faceted individuals with vastly different skills, experiences, emotions, and traumas) before anything else (users, patients or otherwise), so my goal as a designer is to un-complicate design solutions with that complexity in mind, and to prioritize accessibility and inclusion. I\'ve been a product designer in healthcare tech long enough to know that it\'s infinitely complicated and difficult, but also not long enough to want out of the space because I want so badly for it to be better.
