Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures related to confidentiality and HIPAA.Perform initial and ongoing privacy risk assessments.Development of and assurance that the organization maintains the appropriate consents and forms, Business Associate Agreements and Notice of Privacy Practices.Develop and provide initial orientation and ongoing training to organizational staff and community partners. Conduct periodic audits of information systems.Receive, document, track, investigate, and take necessary action related to all complaints and violations concerning Alliance\'s privacy policies and procedures.Records custodian for all records produced and maintained by organization.Manage the medical and administrative records department.Determine retention periods for medical and business records and appropriately destroy records that have met their retention. Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers regarding confidentiality, policies and procedures.Review of contracts to ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.
