ABOUT SHERIF GABRIEL
Sherif Gabriel is a veteran Executive Leader in the Fintech, Foreign Exchange, Global Payments and Financial Services Sales fields bringing over 25 years of experience. He currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Growth at Bendix FX & Payment Solutions, a long standing 40 year old North American FX and International Payments company. He recently joined Bendix after serving as Director and the Head of Corporate Dealing, North America at OFX, an ASX listed global payments company. Prior to that, Sherif was a Managing Director and the Head of the US Corporate Division at Western Union Business Solutions, leading the entire division including the Sales, Dealing, Relationship Management & Demand generations teams and was responsible for it\'s overall GTM Strategy and Execution. Prior to this role, Sherif was the Head of Dealing for the US Enterprise & Canadian Corporate divisions, where he managed the largest dealing floor at Western Union, a team consisting of over 30 Dealers and Support staff. He was responsible for maintaining and growing the core business comprised of the largest accounts in North America. Prior to Western Union, Sherif worked for numerous financial services organizations such as Custom House Currency Exchange, Travelex Global Payments, Thomas Cook Financial Services, Amex Bank of Canada and CIBC. He studied International Business and Marketing and was an Associated Person at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. In 2001, he was a part of the original team that started the Custom House US Division and played a key role in its global expansion and subsequent sale to Western Union in 2009. He is based with his family in Toronto, Canada and has lived in several countries including the UAE and Egypt. He is multilingual, speaking English, French & Arabic.
