Before establishing Downers in 1991, I worked for 10 years in textile technology and quality control within the home furnishing industry. Specialising in the manufacture and design of bespoke handmade, curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, at Downers we are proud of our dedication to traditional craftsmanship, technical expertise and innovation. Above all, we are committed to delivering exceptional quality and service to our clients.We have had the pleasure of working with some of the UK’s leading interior designers and architects on incredible projects around the world. My aim is to champion soft furnishing manufacturing within the UK and to encourage and develop young craftsmen and women in the industry.
