Chapter Director, China @Apics Supply Chain Council
Shanghai, CN
Supply Chain Council is an independent, nonprofit global organization that focuses on leading companies and their professionals to apply and advance the state-of-the-art in supply chain management since 1996. SCC developed and maintains the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) model, a framework for measuring, understanding, and improving supply chain configuration and performance. SCOR links business metrics, processes, best practices, technology solutions, and skill development into a unified structure. There are over thousands of global and Fortune 500 companies that have successfully adapt and apply SCOR to improve overall effectiveness of daily management and targeted improvement initiatives. Companies that use the SCOR framework are consistent top performers in their industries, have grown in aggregate shape value 2-3 times faster than the Dow Jones and S&P 500 indexes, and have reaped significant cost savings and economic returns on SCOR-related investments.
