ABOUT MOHAMMAD ZILANI
I have over 10 years of work experience in diverse areas which include Fulfillment Operations, Supply Chain Management, and Distribution Operations. Overall, I consider myself as an expert in managing end to end supply chain. In my current role as operations manager in Amazon, I manage a team of associate facing managers to ship out packages in 50+ trailers during each shift. My team supervises 200+ associates working really hard to deliver customer smiles with 99.9% delivery estimate accuracy. My leadership experience began with managing distribution operations British American tobacco. From there, I moved to Philip Morris in a higher capacity to manage customer engagement and trade marketing. I was then promoted to manage regional level sales and distribution operations. Afterwards, I decided to shift industry and led the network development of a commercial trucking dealership (FUSO - a Mitsubishi - Daimler venture). Just prior to joining Amazon in Canada, I worked in a pharmaceutical company in the logistics department handling supply chain of goods that were sourced from Indian and delivered across Canada. My biggest strength is my ability to manage stakeholders across multiple functions to achieve team objectives. I am a firm believer of delivering results to the customers and the shareholders and I would go any length to do so.
