As the Communications Manager for Warmworks I am responsible for the delivery of external and internal communications and engagement with employees, customers and stakeholders. I lead the communications team and work closely with the Public Affairs Manager to support and advise the Senior Leadership Team on strategic communications, change communications, events and public affairs activity. A key part of my role is building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, including government officials, policy makers, industry associations, partner organisations, and advocacy groups to enhance our brand presence and drive recognition for the great work we do.I manage the work of the internal communications executive, copywriter / content editor and our external design agency, working with teams across the business to consult, advise and support a wide range of project and engagement activity. This includes the creation of news and content for the staff intranet (Viva Engage), thought leadership and news articles, team and project communications, external event project management and the ongoing development of our social media channels and website. Warmworks is a values driven organisation and plays a leading role in tackling fuel poverty through the installation of energy efficient heating to keep people affordably warm.
