Handle overall HR responsibilities to include: • Full cycle recruiting. • Benefits Coordinator for Branch. • Wrote and implemented Employee Competency Based Pay Program. • Interact with managers on employee related issues; provide coaching and guidance to facilitate positive outcomes. • Maintain communication with various departments on all human resources related issues. • Administer and maintain Conduct Corrective Action reporting. • Administer background and drug testing for DOT and Non-DOT employees. • Process weekly payroll, benefit deductions, and PTO accruals. • Manage employee relations activities such as benefit administration, attendance/vacation, FMLA, STD/LTD, LOA, and COBRA. • Conduct ADA Employee Interactive processes. • Prepare and conduct Employee Focus Groups to address needs and concerns of employees. • Compile monthly EEO-1 and ACA data for parent company reporting. • Administer and maintain Workers Compensation cases as they arise. • Maintain company DOT driver compliance. • Prepare and maintain employment files and records in accordance with law and best practices. • Administer employee termination and exit interviews. • Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations. • Process unemployment claims and lead in appeals of claims. Secondly, responsible for the Branch Safety Program with duties including: • Administer Accident & Near-Miss Program. • Maintain SDS record books. • Investigate DOT violations and take next step to prevent reoccurrence. • Conduct weekly Safety meetings with all plant employees. • Conduct monthly Safety Committee meetings with managers. • Manage Monthly Safety Awards luncheons. • Responsible for OSHA 300 reporting.
