ABOUT SHAYLA PENSIERO

As a Junior at the University of New Hampshire, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications with a minor in Sports Management/Leadership. My goal is to obtain challenging & dynamic work experiences in the marketing and/or merchandising industry that will provide me the opportunity to apply & expand my skills, learn from experienced professionals, & make a positive impact on a team. I am hard-working, outgoing, detail oriented & well-spoken, w/ a true willingness to learn & grow in a variety of areas. I look forward to embracing new challenges as growth experiences. In addition to my academic achievements, I was thrilled to be chosen as the Summer Intern at Dock Lane Advisors this past summer, alongside Bill Hudock, President & Founder. Dock Lane is a high-level consultancy firm specializing in the sports & entertainment industries; whose primary goal is to negotiate & cultivate specialized partnerships across the industry. In addition, I worked for a Fairfield County luxury Home Staging & Interior Marketing firm where I have gained relevant experience as Social Media Manager. I was responsible for gathering effective & engaging content/visual media across various social media platforms. Here, I further developed & enhanced my communication skills, as well as my creativity & attention to detail. Home Staging is marketing tool that utilizes design to proactively effect the real estate transaction. Here, I had had the opportunity to delve deeply into how aesthetics affects our actions. I am a proud & active member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority at the University of New Hampshire, where I serve as the 2024 VP of Public Relations, Merchandising & Social Media. In this role, I execute effective communication w/ various stakeholders, such as the members, the alumni, the campus community & the media; & promote the sorority\'s values, traditions, & philanthropic efforts. I am responsible for ALL brand merchandise throughout the year; creating seasonal drops that keep our membership community engaged in the brand. Solely responsible for merchandise budget, inventory management & effective marketing. I am the Executive Board member solely responsible for ALL Social Media postings across IG, Snapchat, Tik Tok & Facebook daily. collaboration w/ other Executive Board members to plan & execute events, activities, & initiatives that enhance the sorority\'s reputation & engagement. As a leader, I strive to empower, support, & inspire my peers & contribute to the AXO community. I have cultivated a love for merchandising & product development
