Responsibility for developing and implementing the company’s procurement strategy and policy with annual spend of £100M. Review of group procurement process, systems and procedures and to recommend best practice for implementation throughout the PD group. Identify supply synergies across the group and deliver cost reductions through supplier negotiation, sourcing initiatives and leverage of group spend. Provision of specialist procurement support and advice to employees regularly involved in procurement activities. Ensure compliance with the EU procurement regulations by project management of the Company’s procurement requirements through OJEU. Responsible for the design and implementation of the purchase to pay process within the delivery of the company’s new ERP system.
