Divisional leadership position within the Project team at Centrica power, responsible for the management and delivery of the business’s gas peaker projects and reporting directly to the Head of Projects. I am currently operating as Senior Project Manager for two ongoing developments of:• £49m 48MW brownfield gas peaker development in North Lincolnshire. This project is an EPC contract with an established European gas engine provider and in addition to my role as Project Manager, I also am the contractual appointee as Centrica’s Contract Engineer and Engineering Manager. The installation is being retrofitted within an existing brownfield site (decommissioned OCGT engine hall) with the added elements of all construction, consents (planning and environmental), connections (132kV electrical and HP gas), 132kV step up transformer and preparatory activities being planned, procured, and managed by my project team.• £36m 40MW greenfield gas peaker development in South Wales. This project is an EPC contract with an established UK based contractor and in addition to my role as Project Manager, I am also the contractual appointee as Centrica’s Contract Engineer and Engineering Manager. Scopes of work outside of the EPC contract that fall to my team are the consents (planning and environmental) and connections (132kV electrical and HP gas).Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, budget management, forecasting and approval, leading multi-skilled teams (both in person and remotely), contractor relationship management, contract management (progress analysis, dispute resolution and agreement of variations) and working with internal stakeholders (procurement, consents, technical authorities, and assets). Additional responsibilities and accountabilities related to this role include the preparation and presentation of monthly updates to the Centrica Power Senior Leadership Team and the mentoring, coaching and development of team members.
