Under the direct supervision of the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Director of TEC, advising and supporting the CIO in moving forward key strategic areas of work, working closely with TECManagement, TEC branches and field counterparts, contributing to digital assistance to governments, as well as strengthening IT policies, and advancing their strategic implementation.1. Oversee delivery of cross-branch services, facilitate branches’ coordination in projects, servicedelivery and policy definition;2. Lead cross-functional coordination on implementation of field government services, includingneeds assessment, audit implementation and HQ / Field coordination;3. Monitor and report on ongoing projects focusing on values derived, risks and mitigationmeasures, as well as future demands;4. Develop and implement relevant capacity-building initiatives for Country Offices andcounterparts;5. Guide service model definition and implementation in the field for HQ branches and Regional ITofficers.6. Manage an up-to-date inventory of all digital projects within TEC, including those at the globallevel, supported through cross-functional collaboration.7. Ensure implementation of audit recommendations and pursuing support and leadership from HQdivisions in the implementation of the SRA.8. Advise the development of new policies and the review of existing policies with the aim ofadjusting critical ones, and enhancing IT governance, policy coherence and the IT policycompendium.9. Other duties as required.
