Responsible for leading multidimensional projects that require in-depth knowledge of health care policy and regulations, and an ability to evaluate options and recognize strategic and operational implications.• Notable experience includes- Leading engagements with several states to design and implement new, innovative solutions that improve health for low-income populations- Leading engagements with several larger hospital systems in developing a population health strategy and responding to changes in Medicaid payment reform- Working with national foundations and provider associations to understand payment and delivery system reform efforts and making recommendations for policy, operational changes and partnership strategies for their member organizations- Working with health plans to understand and develop strategies for changing markets; and - Working with NC, NY, CA, RI, CO, MD and other states to re-design Medicaid and commercial markets as a result of the ACA, Medicaid Managed Care Rule, other legislative changes.
