Developing the Environment & Sustainability Strategy and governance, working with stakeholders across the business to ensure that identified outcomes are translated into achievable operational action plans.• Manage the ISO14001 Environmental Management System, ensuring continual improvement in E&S performance, with assurance through audits and inspections.• Developed and implementing the Company’s Waste & Recycling strategy, ensuring legal compliance and readiness for future regulatory changes.• Deliver monthly performance reports - analysing data trends, opportunities, and risks for environmental and sustainability assurance. • Undertaking SECR carbon accounting and ESOS Audit delivery• Lead on significant regulator interface requirements on environmental and sustainability compliance assurance and regulator/government environmental consultations, representing the best interests of the business.• Responsible for providing direction and leadership to the business on emerging environmental and sustainability issues and legislative requirements and Clancy\'s role in response.• Lead and inspire the Environmental & Sustainability Advisors to deliver the business, and clients, environmental & sustainability strategy and plans.• Inform the Board and operational leadership teams understanding of environmental and sustainability legal requirements, best practice and business opportunities. • Support the business client interface on environmental and sustainability leadership.• I currently sit on the CIWM Climate Emergency Strategic Expert Group, as well as the CIWM Construction & Demolition Advisory Group.
