ABOUT HANNAH LEGGATT MIENVSC

I am an award winning environmental specialist with over 17 years’ experience delivering environmental and sustainability excellence across major infrastructure programmes, including Kier Group, Amey, and HS2. I bring a strong track record of leading complex construction and environmental portfolios, managing cost and programme pressures, and ensuring robust compliance while working with high profile stakeholders such as Historic England, National Highways, Natural England, Defra, and the Environment Agency. At HS2, I led significant assets and programmes including Curzon Street Station, Interchange Station, route wide early environmental and ecology works, and environmental and sustainability compliance within delivery. I now serve as the Environment and Sustainability Director at the Clancy Group.I am a published technical co author, with work featured in the ICE’s High Speed Two (HS2): Infrastructure Design and Construction (Volume 2), and have been published in Construction Business Review, which also named me a Top E&S Leader in 2023. I am a Member of the Institution of Environmental Sciences (MIEnvSc) and was included on the Social Mobility List for 2026.Alongside my executive career, I am a Non Executive Director for ChangeKitchen and until the end of 2025, also a Non Executive Director for Jericho Construction, supporting social enterprise models that deliver meaningful community and environmental impact.
