My role involves extracting key insights from these models to support independent evaluations of space vehicle systems, mission architectures, and operational concepts.Additionally, my role facilitates thorough editorial review, authorship, and documentation of research findings in technical publications. Deliverables also include the creation of polished slide presentations and interactive dashboards tailored for high-level NASA decision-makers who shape the future of human and scientific space exploration. The role further involves providing technical leadership and mentorship.As a Lead Aerospace Engineer, my responsibilities include:> Conducting space systems modeling and analysis for NASA’s science and human exploration portfolios.> Selecting and applying tools and methodologies to assess, characterize, and optimize strategies within these portfolios.> Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of tools and methods for ongoing assessments of exploration portfolios.> Producing and maintaining documentation related to tool development, management needs, observations, and configuration control.> Promoting knowledge management and innovation within a diverse team of colleagues and external stakeholders.
