ABOUT SHANTAM GILRA
I am a fourth-year material science undergraduate from Imperial College London. I am versed in programming languages like Python, SQL, Arduino, and C and have had experiences in training Machine Learning models and creating Kivy apps. Additionally, being a self-taught AutoCAD draftsman, I have had the experience of designing top-view and cross-sectional projections of stone layouts for several houses, offices, and architectural projects in the UAE. I have contributed to Emirates Pavilion in Expo 2020, Indian Pavilion in Expo 2020, E-Fulfillment Center in Dubai South, and villas in the Al-Mirfa Area in the UAE. As a student who is highly dependent on online resources, I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to harness the power of technology to learn something new. Hence, being an Alpha Microsoft Student Ambassador, I strive to disseminate knowledge and learn with other people.
