Provides day-to-day HR support to the Operations function, to include employee relations, training & staff development, retirement, recruiting in partnership with Talent Acquisition, onboarding, and labor relations. Accepted the challenge to leverage cross-functional collaborations to conceptualize best-in-class trainings and critical diversity initiatives, strengthening team morale and fostering a culture of engagement.• Act as a thought partner with managers to improve people-related priorities such as coaching and development of our Manufacturing employees. • Advise employees by taking a consultative approach to help them enhance their working relationships, plan and execute on their career goals, and be impactful and successful contributors to the Swisher team. • Serve as an initial point of contact and intermediary for the Manufacturing team by offering advice, counseling, and training on employee relations matters. • Capability to understand the business and develop strategies and solutions to enable manufacturing teams to achieve the desired business goals and objectives. • Participate in meetings between unions and management to discuss and attempt to resolve issues of mutual concern. • Provide HR policy and CBA guidance and interpretation. • Actively prepare for and participate in collective bargaining negotiations. • Work hand-in-hand with Manufacturing Operations leadership and management to diagnose organizational design and development needs; increase employee motivation, engagement, productivity, and retention.• Recommend and implement solutions to continuously build morale; and drive our engaging and exciting culture.
