As the Program Director at Quantum LEEP Academy, I am part of the administration team. My primary responsibility is to create and support staff in implementing academics for children in kindergarten through 8th grade. At our school, we strive to meet each child where they are on their academic journey by developing tailored curricula and building support around their unique needs to develop a holistic education.In addition to tailoring academics to each child, we ensure that families understand how our classroom content applies to the real world. We follow state standards, provide individualized classroom instruction, and focus on individualized student goals. Our team is committed to building a curriculum for learning that can be applied beyond the classroom.As a passionate advocate of the DIR therapy play-based model, I work individually with students and in groups to support their social-emotional development. In addition, I support staff training and continuing education to ensure our team is providing the best possible care for our students.As Program Director, I also play a key role in interviewing new staff, supporting new families, communicating with families, implementing academic assessments, and supporting students and families as they transition to new environments. I am proud to be part of a team that is committed to providing the highest quality education and support for our students.
