Procurement of PSUs- I am looking after the procurement process of Iron and steel giant i.e (Bokaro Steel Plant) from PR to PO with processing data through SAP-ERP and SRM modules.Handling procurement process of PSUs. Controlling PR to PO conversion ratio and lead time. Handling mechanical, Electrical, pipe and spare items for different department SMS-1, SMS-2, RMHP, SPC, Bearing Cell, CRM. Controlling Risk purchase, Recovery analysis, Quality complain issues. Delivery period analysis and cost analysis. All the works are performed through and on SAP ERP, SRM6 platform. Sourcing (Release of RFQ, Quotation comparison, Cost Negotiations, Letter of Indent release)Zero Based Costing knowledge, Manufacturing process KnowledgeNegotiation ability with vendors, cross functional departments co-ordinationsPart development activities, Project monitoring to meet Model Timelines for PP, MPP, Pilot & SOP’sVendor Upgradation, Rating improvement, Overall vendor assessments in terms of Financial Health, D-risking, alternate sourcing etc.Cost Reduction on overall buying thru Volume Growth Fixed Cost Benefit, Value Analysis, Yield Improvement, Localization, process improvement or alternate process.Vendor Risk Assessment & basic Financial knowledge (can assess balance sheet)Performing research and communicating with vendors and suppliers to find the best goods and services for the company.Creating a database of invoices, purchase orders, quote requests, vendor or supplier contracts, and updating it \"as and when\" needed.Reviewing all purchase-related documents for errors before it is sent to the final process.Fast forward Tracking, Maintaining, Processing the status of orders to avoid last time hurdle, and reporting any delivery issues to affect supervisors. Regular update informed to concerned dept and head.
