Cox Automotive Vehicle Management, Vehicle Routing and Delivery applications will deliver a seamless experience for team members and clients to support vehicle management, processing and movement. The VR & D application will add team members in orchestrating the prioritization, coordination and sequencing of vehicle activities across auction processes. System monitors need to move vehicles and notifies crew leaders to make the appropriate move. Track vehicle movements in and out of shop, alert crew to move vehicles and automatic escalation of delays. The benefit case for the Drive field yielded annual cost savings of approximately $20 MM. Built a new LotOps Dashboard and Configuration portal to track the vehicles in each move areas and shop areas. Responsibilities: • Understanding the initial business need and discuss internally within the team for possible design approaches. Chalk out a design plan and send it to Pega Lead Architects to review and provider their feedback on the design. • Getting started with actual development after receiving the feedback on the design and converting the actual design into piece of code using Pega Rules. • Building the Portals and dashboard using Pega Portals and Harness rules. • Creating new CSS Styles and Skin rules as per the user need and include them in the Harness and portal rules. • Created Section rules to incorporate the LotOps dashboard and configuration portal screens. • Created Activities, Data transforms, Data Pages to handle data flow between different systems and populate the data in UI Sections using different containers and layouts. • Handled the toggling of data on dashboard using Connect SQL Rules to call the query which in turn use to return the data for respective Move Area or Standard Areas. • Helped team to come up with Passive Refresh strategy to refresh the dashboard for every 5 minutes without any user intervention by using Java Scripts and Ajax calls.
