As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and training as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), project management is a life time commitment and career for me. I have over 25 years of project management experience in the areas of automotive, manufacturing, building construction, information technology and in the utilities industries. Scope of work has ranged from a few million dollars to over $1 billion. Previous project management career roles include: Consultant, Project Manager, Master Scheduler, Schedule Manager, Sr. Project Controls Specialist and Project Scheduler. Project Controls Supervisor in the development and implementation of program office functions, project controls, reporting and metrics with an annual capital budget of $1.4 billion. Ensures program strategy and direction are properly translated into measurable business strategies, objectives and milestones. Leads and drives process change, continuous improvement and positive relationships with stakeholders. Resource Schedule Manager for the development and implementation of managing project resources Provided project consulting services on the $2 billion Marathon Detroit Heavy Oil Refinery Upgrade to two subcontractors. Schedule Manager/Master Project Scheduler for a $450 million Construction Management at Risk (CMRisk) project at Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Project Scheduler for several contractors concurrently on the City of Detroit Water and Sewerage Dept.$2 billion Capital Improvement Program. Performed several PMO assignments at various divisions of General Motors as a Senior Project Controls Specialist (Change Coordinator, Scheduler, Project Adviser, develop and implement various processes, etc). Proficient in Primavera Software products; MS Project and MS Office Professional Products (Word, Excel, Power Point and Microsoft Visio); formal training in Primavera Contract Manager and Successful Estimator Software by U.S. Cost.
