In my role as Contract Director, I am responsible for the overall efficient and effective management of the University of Oxford catering contract—one of the most complex and high-profile within the sector.Key Responsibilities & Achievements:* Oversee the delivery of food and beverage services across 14 cafés, a bar, and more than 100 hospitality spaces, supported by a team of up to 70 staff.* Coordinate operational planning, resource management, and service execution across a multi-site estate.* Manage a multi-million-pound budget with full accountability for cost control, forecasting, and financial oversight within a challenging commercial environment.* Ensure compliance with all building regulations, health and safety (HSE) standards, and internal audit requirements.* Drive year-on-year improvements in KPIs and audit outcomes, with a strong focus on operational excellence, team performance, and customer satisfaction.* Lead marketing and engagement initiatives to enhance service visibility and client experience.* Build and maintain trusted, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment and long-term partnership success.
