As the Sustainability Manager for Compass Group, I lead strategic initiatives to drive environmental stewardship and social responsibility within the University of Sussex community. Leveraging my expertise in sustainability practices, I collaborate with diverse stakeholders to implement innovative solutions that minimise environmental impact and promote sustainable eating on campus.Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies aligned with organisational goals and industry best practices- Conduct assessments and audits to identify opportunities for improvement in waste management, reduction of carbon emissions and consumer behaviour changes- Engage with students, faculty and staff to raise awareness and foster a culture of sustainability through education and training programs- Track and report on key performance indicators to measure progress towards sustainability objectives and drive continuous improvement.
