ABOUT SEHRISH ALI
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas, Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as well as most of the research-supported therapies, which include but are not limited to dialectical behavioral, cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, solution focused, and acceptance and commitment therapy. My experience as a psychotherapist has centered around gaining a better understanding of the complexities involved in various eating disorders and their effects on multicultural populations. I have worked extensively with both adults and adolescents and their families, to treat eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and trauma at both outpatient and higher levels of care. I currently own and operate Guided Growth Therapy PLLC. As a private practice therapist I specialize and work with clients struggling with treating eating disorders/disordered eating, body image concerns, depression, anxiety and trauma.
