ABOUT SÉBASTIEN LLAURENCY

I am an IT Architect. I joined IBM in I started to work for many customers within the IBM Client Center Montpellier on first of the kind projects using leading edge technology around Java, Web Services Security, WebSphere Application Server, Autonomic Computing and Tivoli Automation. I made several publications, obtained a number of IBM products certifications and got 3 patents filed, among which one granted by IBM.I worked at the New Technology Center, in Montpellier, France. I led the Virtualization and IT Optimization for IBM Z team, which was working on cloud computing architectures with several customers from different industries.I focused on OpenStack Architecture and the latest Cloud Computing Solutions with IBM Z.As an Open Group Distinguished Architect, I engaged with European Customers on Application Modernization Architecture patterns focusing on AI technologies with IBM Z as part of the IBM Client Engineering team.I recently changed role and I am now acting as an IBM Z Client Architect in the IBM zStack organisation.
