ABOUT SEAN HEALEY

Sean is a passionate and experienced educator and leader who has dedicated his career to advancing educational outcomes and opportunities for students in urban communities. He has over ten years of experience in teaching, school leadership, curriculum and instruction, and strategy and operations across various educational settings and contexts. He currently serves as the Director of Strategy and Operations for Uncommon\'s High School Curriculum and Assessment Team, where he supports the academic vision, planning, and implementation of ten high school campuses across five geographic regions. Sean joined Uncommon Schools in 2014 as a founding math teacher and rose to become the principal of Uncommon Prep, a high-performing charter school in Brooklyn, NY. Under his leadership, the school successfully navigated the challenges of remote, hybrid, and in-person learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, while maintaining a strong culture of excellence and achievement. Sean was also selected as a member of the inaugural cohort of the All Means All Inclusive School Leadership Program, a national fellowship for school leaders working to build more equitable and inclusive learning communities for all learners. Sean holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from the Relay Graduate School of Education, a Master of Education in Urban Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor\'s degree in International Relations and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
