Established the law department (2003) for one of New York City’s oldest and most extensive non-profit providers of health-related services for nearly low-resourced New Yorkers and families experiencing homelessness per year. In 2004, assumed responsibility for human resources and, in 2005, for all operations. Currently oversees approximately 200 clinical, financial and administrative staff, entire day-to-day operations and legal issues, and is active in all phases of business development and fundraising activities. Reports to the Board of Directors. From 2017 to 2021, oversaw the purchase, funding and renovation of a $8.3-million clinic presciently designed for a post-pandemic healthcare environment. In 2021, was named to Crain’s New York “Notables in Health Care” list and, in 2022 and 2023, was included in the “Irish American Business 100,” a national ranking of top leaders of Irish heritage.Expertise in developing government-contract opportunities for the organization that are consistent with its mission and goals, and that contribute to overall revenue generation. Rejuvenated the clinic’s fundraising functionality with focused events and appeals, and expanded that functionality from a few thousand dollars in 2004-05 to over $2M today.
