Canada Green Building Council (CAGBC) is Canada\'s voice of the green building industry, championing the growth and demand for high performance, healthy buildings, sustainable community development practices and green building market transformation. CAGBC launched the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) green building rating system in Canada, developed the country’s first Zero Carbon Building Standard and supports an integrated portfolio of sustainability initiatives. More than industry organizations and over individual members work with the Council to achieve its mission of reducing the environmental impacts of the built environment. CAGBC has educated more than green professionals and impacted thousands of commercial and government buildings, schools, homes and community centres to be retrofitted or newly constructed to meet green building standards. As Head of Market Engagement, I work with my team to advance the integrated growth of CAGBC’s service offerings, including member services, event and program delivery, and stakeholder education, as well as coordinate the stakeholder experience strategy across the organization to expand CAGBC’s commitment and leadership as a social enterprise.
