ABOUT SCOTT SCHELLENBERG

I have practiced exclusively in, and forensic accounting for more than 15 years. This work has included breach of contract, shareholder disputes, expropriation, divorce & marital disputes, fraud, catastrophe services, personal injury & wrongful death, product liability & product recall, extra expenses, builders’ risk claims & soft cost claims, stock & contents, and physical damages. I also have extensive experience in the area, managing MDD’s response to claims that occurred due to the 2011 Slave Lake wildfires, 2013 Alberta floods, and 2016 Fort McMurray wildfires.My assignments have encompassed a broad range of industries, including & , power generation and distribution, agriculture, automotive, mining and refining, food and beverage manufacturing, construction, chemical manufacturing, hotels and resorts, shipping / transportation industries, real estate, retail and wholesale.In addition to qualifying as an and providing testimony in The Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench, I have provided mediation and arbitration services and acted as an Appraiser under the Insurance Act.I have conducted numerous seminars and workshops on the subject of.I am a graduate of the University of British Columbia, where I received a Bachelor of Commerce degree. I received a Diploma in Investigative and Forensic Accounting from the University of Toronto.I joined MDD Forensic Accountants’ Toronto office in 2005.
