As a Key Account Manager at Scanman, I lead relationships with the company’s largest and most strategic clients, while also heading up our variable data operations — overseeing all barcode production, design, and regulatory compliance. My dual role combines commercial growth with technical precision, ensuring clients receive tailored, high-performance solutions in the label printing sector.Key Account Management Responsibilities: • Manage and grow a portfolio of high-value accounts, contributing significantly to overall business revenue. • Partner closely with clients to understand their evolving needs and provide tailored label solutions. • Drive account growth through proactive opportunity identification, upselling, and long-term strategic planning. • Act as a central liaison between clients and internal teams (production, logistics, design), ensuring seamless execution and delivery.Head of Variable Data Responsibilities: • Lead the design, production, and quality assurance of all variable data, including barcodes, QR codes, and serialised information. • Ensure full compliance with industry standards and customer-specific requirements (e.g, GS1, retail/FMCG guidelines). • Collaborate with design and production teams to deliver accurate, scannable, and regulation-compliant data on every label. • Implement and maintain robust QC processes to guarantee data integrity across all print runs. • Serve as the company’s subject matter expert for variable data and barcode standards.
