Direct the safe and efficient delivery of all fixed route bus service for DTPW. Provide leadership and direction to staff, including section chiefs, division superintendents, bus traffic controllers, transit supervisors, bus operators, and several other bus operation employees. Develop and oversee implementation of transportation plans, programs, and procedures to support the departments overall goals, objectives, and strategic plan. Coordinates the activities of Bus Transportation with other departments. Ensure the staff meets or exceeds the department goals regarding safety, quality, and efficiency. Represent the department to Local, State, and Federal governments and various professional organizations and groups. Ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations related to service.
