This assignment with VIKSAT-UNDP Supported Project was to derive status of MDGs in Dungarpur District of Rajasthan. A detailed draft report and Micro Plan was submitted to district administration Dungarpur. A detail survey of 100 sample villages was condcuted with more than 200 FGDs in different groups specific focus to MDG 4,5,6 which broadly talked about reducing child mortality, improve maternal health and combat HIV Aids. A district level workshop was orgnaised for dissemination of information colected through micro planning and with specific reference to generate awareness on HIV AIDS and its causative aspects. Under Localising MDGs in Dungarpur District social empowerment, sensitizing stakeholders & creating leadership among the community members were experimented in 4 Gram Panchayats and more than 13 villages.
