ABOUT SAURABH KADAM
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Lawrence Livermore National Lab.My research interests include quantum simulation of many body systems, developing Hamiltonian formulation of lattice gauge theories suitable for classical and quantum simulations, quantum computing for quantum field theories, finite volume methodology for lattice quantum chromodynamics (QCD), QCD thermodynamics, and high energy physics.I completed my Ph.D. in theoretical physics at the University of Maryland, College Park with thesis titled \"Theoretical Developments in Lattice Gauge Theory for Applications in Double-Beta Decay Processes and Quantum Simulation\".So far, I have worked on obtaining scattering amplitudes of double beta decay processes from lattice QCD, deriving Hamiltonian formulation of QCD suitable for quantum simulation, behavior of dense quark matter in strong magnetic fields, and collider phenomenology for dark matter models.
