ABOUT SASHYA SIMHA
Hi there! I’m Sashya, a second-year Digital Marketing postgrad student at Lambton College, Ottawa.Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been drawn to the world of communications. Storytelling came naturally to me, and I’ve always had a way with words. This passion led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Psychology - a combination that deepened my understanding of both human behavior and the power of words. Over the last 3 years, I’ve worked across diverse industries, from e-learning and Web3 startups to digital marketing agencies, where I’ve sharpened my creative and technical skills. Through my current program, I’ve gained hands-on experience in digital strategy, analytics, and campaign execution, along with certifications in GA4, SEO, and more. Now, I’m ready to take my career to the next level, moving beyond just creating content to building communication and marketing strategies that help brands tell their unique stories. My goal is to craft digital narratives that not only capture attention but also drive conversions and create long-term brand loyalty. I’m currently on the lookout for opportunities in integrated marketing, corporate communications, account management, brand strategy, and social media marketing. When I’m not diving into the latest marketing trends, you’ll probably find me making music or winning a friendly game of ping pong.
