ABOUT SARTHAK CHATURVEDI
Sarthak is a Senior R&D Staff at the U.S. Department of Energy\'s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), where he develops AI solutions to enhance grid resilience and support critical energy infrastructure.At PNNL, Sarthak collaborates with a distinguished network of U.S. Department of Energy offices, including Advanced Research Projects Agency–Energy (ARPA-E), Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), Grid Deployment Office (GDO), and Office of Policy. His research spans AI-driven grid resilience tools, energy infrastructure permitting solutions, and critical energy supply chain decision support systems. He has contributed to initiatives on grid modernization and the Federal Resource Adequacy Report assessing. and.Sarthak serves as a key contributor to PermitAI, a generative AI initiative to accelerate for energy infrastructure projects. The project has received national recognition, including several references in briefings, America\'s and Department of Energy announcements highlighting efforts to advance U.S. leadership in artificial intelligence.Prior to joining PNNL, Sarthak conducted research at Georgia Tech focused on electric vehicle charging infrastructure and energy policy.
