WORK HISTORY
Bliss @Bioastronautics And Life Support Systems Bliss
Bliss is a student- run group that has annual projects which encompass building, designing and testing deep-space habitat prototype technology to advance human space exploration. Freshman year I worked on the NASA X-Hab Sensorimotor Assessment Tool (SMAT) where I was on the data integration & testing team for developing wearable head and body motion sensors to monitor movements of astronauts experiencing g-transition induced motion sickness. Sophomore year, I was on the Volatile Organic Compound project developing a benchtop volatile organic compound management system intended to integrate into the current air revitalization system aboard the ISS and future space stations. I was on the Structures and Interfaces subteam for VOC, where I worked on trade studies, component ordering, CAD modeling, and assembling.
