ABOUT SARAH MCLEAN

Sarah McLean is a trusted advisor to CEOs, boards, and senior leaders across Canada, with more than two decades of experience at the nexus of public affairs, governance, corporate strategy, people leadership and stakeholder engagement. As one of the founding executives at Maritime Launch Services, she has been instrumental in establishing Canada’s first commercial spaceport—securing public and private investment, advancing regulatory approvals, business development, leading Indigenous and community engagement, and managing bilateral negotiations with government partners.Known for her calm and strategic counsel in high-stakes environments, Sarah has guided public and private sector organizations through crisis communications, policy development, and large-scale transformation. Her prior leadership roles span Canada\'s largest public relations agency, a national grocery retailer, and the Government of Canada, solidifying her reputation in corporate reputation management, labour communications, and executive advisory.Sarah serves on the Board of Governors at Saint Mary’s University and as a Director with Genome Atlantic. She is an alumna of the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference and Regional Co-Chair for the 2026 conference. Sarah is IAP2 and ICS certified, holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary’s University, and is currently completing her Executive MBA.
