ABOUT SARAH STOOKS

Welcome to my LinkedIn Profile! I first became interested in public relations and event management in my sophomore year of high school when I saw that there was a need for large-scale communication within my local youth ministry. What started off as creating “aesthetic” posts and graphics for fun soon turned into a passion of bringing the community together with hard work and the push of a few buttons. I was able to not only relay important reminders to the members of our ministry but plan youth nights and larger events that reached a wider audience like never before. Throughout my college career, I worked to gained experience in the field. I worked for St. Mark the Evangelist Parish to manage their social media platforms. I was selected by Restless Hearts Communications as the Social Media Officer. Additionally, I have been employed by the small business Be A Heart Design as a brand affiliate. I also remained involved on campus as a Public Relations/Events Team member for Her Campus UFL and a Media Coordinator for The Agency at UF.I have since been hired as a Marketing & Branding Intern at Solis Health Plans. I aim to bring my skills in writing, media management, and communication to the Solis Family.
