ABOUT SARAH KINGSBURY

As a Principal Research Technologist at Mayo Clinic, I apply my clinical and academic expertise in audiology to conduct cutting-edge research and innovation projects that improve the quality of life and health outcomes of patients with hearing and balance disorders. I have a Doctor of Audiology degree and a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and experience as an Audiology Doctoral Fellow at Mayo Clinic. I am a remote Ph.D. student through the University of North Dakota\'s John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences and am specializing in Human Factors research in Aviation. My core competencies include direct patient care, patient education, cochlear implant, hearing aid, and tinnitus assessment and management, vestibular evaluation and rehabilitation, and aerospace research. I have a special interest in developing and testing new technologies and methods that enhance the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of hearing and balance impairments, especially in the context of aviation and aerospace. I am driven by a passion for advancing the field of audiology and contributing to the scientific and clinical community.
