ABOUT SARAH FARLEE
Marketing communications professional with over a decade of experience directing communication, marketing, and public relations efforts in the agriculture and electric utility industries. Currently, lead the development of external marketing communication plans and strategic communication efforts for the largest electric cooperative in Northeast Kansas. In 2017 earned the distinction of Certified Cooperative Communicator. I serve on the Touchstone Energy branding strategy advisory committee, and as a member of the Kansas Department of Agriculture’s ag marketing advisory council. A Class XII graduate of the Kansas Agriculture and Rural Leadership Program, and served on the organization\'s board of directors as the marketing chair, where I helped lead a branding initiative. I am engaged in the local community as a past volunteer with the Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence. I support the Lawrence Arts Center, Topeka Zoo and Conservation Center, and Kansas State Research and Extension Council of Douglas County. Bachelor of Science degree from Kansas State University in animal science and industry and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washburn University in communications. I am a member of the Public Relations Society of America.
